Match the topping to the menu
Start with the drink or dessert, not with a flavour name alone. Barley popping boba is the roasted barley pearl for iced latte, milk tea and bakery garnish. Oat popping boba is the plant-forward oat pearl for plant milk, dirty coffee and acai smoothies. Red bean popping boba is the sweet, earthy pearl for shaved ice, matcha parfait and brown sugar tea. Moji Yogurt is the tangy yogurt-flavoured popping boba for a yogurt shake, strawberry bingsu or a tart. These are serving ideas to test, not measured recipes or sales results.
Osmanthus Konjac is the item shops most often mislabel. It is a floral konjac topping, not popping boba. If the menu word is มุกป๊อป, choose barley, oat, red bean or Moji Yogurt. Use Osmanthus Konjac only when the menu says konjac.
Compare pack price with drained weight
Every topping is a 500g pack with 300g drained weight. Barley, oat, red bean and Osmanthus Konjac are 90 THB per pack. Moji Yogurt is 120 THB per pack. Use the drained weight when you cost a portion. At 15g drained per serving, a pack gives about 20 servings, so the portion cost is 4.50 THB or 6.00 THB for Moji Yogurt, before shipping, tax and waste. There is no minimum order. This is not a survey of other suppliers.

Check gluten, storage and the child warning
Barley and oat contain gluten. People with allergies should avoid cereal products such as wheat, barley and rye. This article does not state an allergen status for red bean, Moji Yogurt or Osmanthus Konjac. Check the label. All five toppings are vegan and do not use gelatin. Vegan does not mean allergen-free.
Unopened: store at room temperature for 12 months from manufacture. After opening: keep tightly closed and refrigerated at 4°C or below for up to 1 month. Packed in syrup and contains sugar. You can drain the syrup for less sweetness, but this does not make the product sugar-free. Not recommended for children under 6 years due to choking risk.
